For classical guitarists, the music of Fernando Sor (1778-1839) is at the centre of everything. For electric bassists, not so much! Here, I wanted to try and capture some of the charm and ease of Sor's music on the solo electric bass, an instrument that genuinely deserves more time in the classical spotlight.
